BOMA Georgia seeks to maintain an effective advocacy arm in order to protect the best interests of a growing commercial real estate industry. The viability of commercial real estate in Georgia depends on developing productive relationships with elected and government officials, as well as keeping association members informed about and engaged with political happenings throughout the state of Georgia and at the local level within metro Atlanta.
During Georgia’s legislative session—typically between January and April—Fiveash Stanley, Inc., BOMA Georgia’s political consultant firm at the state level, provides weekly legislative updates to members outlining activities at the Capitol. These updates are posted on this page on a weekly basis (as long as the legislature was in session that week) to keep you current on what your elected officials are up to during the legislative session.
