The newly redesigned Building Engineering 101® course–now Foundations of Building Engineering–combines classroom-style learning, interaction with industry professionals and behind-the-scenes tours and access to Metro-Atlanta buildings. Classes will be held at various locations on six (6) Fridays. In this class, you will learn from real-life scenarios and gain an in-depth understanding of complex building systems. This course is designed to teach beginning building engineers how to be successful in their field, but is open to anyone with an interest in learning more about the intricacies of the profession and industry.

The class will be held in six different modules on the following Fridays

1) September 13 - Building Operations pt. 1 (day 1)
2) September 20 - Building Operations pt. 1 (day 2)
3) October 4 - Building Operations pt. 2 (day 1)
4) October 11 - Building Operations pt. 2 (day 2)
5) October 18 - Risk Management 
6) October 25 - Communications, Customer Service and Professionalism
