The newly redesigned Building Engineering 101® course–now Foundations of Building Engineering–combines classroom-style learning, interaction with industry professionals and exploration of building systems from Metro-Atlanta properties.. Classes will be held virtually on (6) Fridays. In this class, you will learn from real-life scenarios and gain an in-depth understanding of complex building systems. This course is designed to teach beginning building engineers how to be successful in their field, but is open to anyone with an interest in learning more about the intricacies of the profession and industry.

The class will be held in six different modules on the following Fridays

1) September 18 - Building Operations pt. 1 (day 1)
No class Sept. 25
2) October 2 - Building Operations pt. 1 (day 2)
3) October 9 - Building Operations pt. 2 (day 1)
4) October 16 - Building Operations pt. 2 (day 2)
5) October 23 - Risk Management
6) October 30 - Communications, Customer Service and Professionalism
